Magnitude 5 Quake Strikes In The Mediterranean
A magnitude 5 earthquake was recorded this morning at 9:50am in the Central Mediterranean, south of the Ionian Sea.

Chances are no one actually felt it, but scientists say it’s another reminder that this part of the Med is still very much active.
Interestingly, it’s also one of the least studied seismic zones, mostly because it’s so far from land-based monitoring stations.
