Moviment Graffitti Launches Crowdfund For Legal Action To Demolish Bidnija Sham Sheep Farm
Pressure group Moviment Graffitti has just launched a crowdfunding campaign to cover the costs of legal action against the sham sheep farm in Bidnija.
The activists explained how they are planning to take legal action against the revocation of the 2019 permit (PA/07946/18) for a sham sheep farm in Bidnija’s ODZ so that “this obscenity is demolished and the site returned to its natural state at the developer’s expense”.
Questions have been raised over the past three years on the massive two-storey structure including a pool and a reception area rising in the middle of an untouched valley.
What is now being referred to as a sham sheep farm is being described as a “symbol of the abject failure of our planning system”.
“Moreover, a new, outrageous application (PA/5895/22) has laid bare the real intentions behind the already-approved application, seeking to change the layout and use of the fake farm to officially become a retail outlet with guest rooms,” Graffitti said.
Activists from Moviment Graffitti had long been stressing that the building was not intended for its original stated use, and it is now even more crystal clear than ever before.
“We are determined to have this building demolished through any available legal means. Every donation, small or large, will help us fight the destruction of our environment.”
