Rocky Beaches In Malta Will Be Made More Accessible, Budget Promises

Some rocky beaches in Malta will be made “more accessible”, the Budget for 2020 promised.

The government didn’t give any details in the Budget, only stating that a pilot project will be launched which will increase the accessibility of rocky beaches, while ensuring there no negative impact on the natural environment.

Meanwhile, a number of beaches, such as Rinella Bay and Għadira, will be extended and a National Trail Network will be developed to increase accessibility in rural zones in the countryside and along the coast.
