Article Featured Image

Sea slime has been spotted once again in Maltese waters, this time at the beach and in the sea just under Tul il-Kosta road on the way to Magħtab.

This episode follows a series of appearances in the northern bays in Malta over the last weeks. After fish farm operators admitted responsibility for the slime, six cubic metres of slime and eight cubic metres of other waste, including polystyrene were collected.

A passer by who sent the photos told Lovin Malta that “it’s shameful that they’re getting away with this every time.”

Lovin Malta has reached out to the authorities about this incident.
