The Environmental Health Directorate has confirmed that the Chalet area, Tower Road, Sliema is once again safe for swimming.

The Directorate within the Superintendence of Public health issued the ban on 19th June due to sewage seeping into the sea, affecting the bathing water quality and presenting potential risk to swimmers’ health.

The Environmental Health Directorate invites the public to check out their website for updates on bathing quality in the Maltese islands.
