St Thomas Bay Swimming Ban Officially Lifted

The Environmental Health Directorate officially lifted the swimming ban on St Thomas Bay at A07 Fajtata.

“Following the investigations carried out by the Environmental Health officers, the irregularity found in the sewage system of the public convenience was rectified,” wrote the Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health in a statement.

 

In the last days, repeated sampling of seawater were taken and the bathing site indicated is once again fit for bathing and thus the health warning is lifted.
