The Environmental Health Directive has issued a statement saying that the area between A07 in Fajtata and A08 in St Thomas Bay in Marsaskala is once again safe for swimming.

On 30th May, the Directorate issued a Bathing Water Directive and asked the public to avoid swimming in the aforementioned area due to foul water that reached the sea. This water was discharged from a restaurant’s rainwater culvert which affected the quality of the bathing water and posed risks to bathers’ health.
