Volunteers Collect 305KG Of Rubbish From Qawra Coastline

305 kilograms of garbage were cleared from the Qawra coast on World Ocean day 🌎🐋

The NGO, Coast is Clear, was joined by the members of the US navy, US marines, US embassy, Verdala International School and the Malta Aquarium to clean up the coastal area around Qawra.

“It was a special day, with special people, doing special things.” wrote Coast is Clear on its social media. “It was a proud moment, working alongside reps of the US. Respect guys and thank you for your service.”

Verdala International school rose to the occasion with a group of kids, teachers and parents who worked tirelessly to clean the popular touristic coastline.
