A huge shout-out to everyone who rolled up their sleeves this weekend to help make Malta cleaner! During the monthly clean-up at Manoel Island, a dedicated team of 110 Żibel volunteers took to the land, sea, and seabed, working on foot, snorkelling, and diving, with staggering results.

Altogether, the crew collected almost two tonnes of litter, from plastics, glass, and metal to other debris, clearing both the shorelines and surrounding waters.

Hours of teamwork, coordination, and sheer determination made this possible, proving what a community can achieve when everyone pitches in.

Thanks to the volunteers’ effort and love for their island, Manoel Island is cleaner, safer, and a little brighter, a reminder of the impact local action can have on Malta’s environment.

Will you volunteer for their next cleanup?
