Watch: Huge Dead Tuna Washes Up On Xgħajra Rocks This Morning

Article Featured Image

A huge dead tuna was discovered earlier this morning in Xgħajra by residents in the area after washing up on the rocks.

Malta has been seeing a series of tunas washing up dead on the shore, with the most recent one in Pembroke, shortly after a dramatic beaching in Għadira

In photos and videos sent to Lovin Malta, the dead tuna can be seen trapped on the rocks underneath the promenade as residents stood next to it.

It is unclear whether the tuna washed up already dead from the sea or whether it died upon entering shallow waters.

Have you ever spotted such an ordeal?
