Article Featured Image

Sea slime has once again been spotted off Sliema’s coast, this time near the Qui-Si-Sana area earlier today.

Footage sent to Lovin Malta shows a thick layer of white, foamy slime floating just a few metres from the shoreline, prompting concerns among residents.

Similar sightings were reported back in August, when sea slime appeared along Sliema and St Paul’s Bay.

Lovin Malta has contacted the Environmental Health Directorate regarding the issue.
