Footage sent to Lovin Malta shows a white swan encircled by trash as it attempted to clear its path, showing the sad reality that animals have to live with as a result of human litter.

UK national Filomena Varela was shocked to stumble upon this site while walking in the English capital, so she filmed the scene and sent it to her Maltese niece Yaz Pisani who passed it on to the newsroom.
