Watch: Unidentified Sludge Spotted In Sliema’s Sea
Unidentified brown sludge was spotted floating on the surface of the sea in Sliema, footage sent to Lovin Malta shows.
Residents and bystanders explained to the newsroom that there’s also a fishy stench in the air that is not usually present in the area.
Footage shows patches of the strange, thick substance stretching across the Sliema coastline.
Lovin Malta sent questions to the Environmental Health Directorate and is currently awaiting a response.
