Watch: Unlikely Dancer Busts Moves Amid Protestors During Major Valletta Demonstration

Article Featured Image

One of the thousands of people in attendance at the National Environment Protest was spotted breaking into an almost unbelievable dance ahead of a stage erected by Moviment Graffitti in front of Valletta’s courthouse.

The dancer can be seen using a walking stick as part of his awe-inspiring gyrations – and was clearly moved by the lyrics: “all I want to say is that, they don’t really care about us”.

Who’s gramps is this choppin’ it up like Jay Z in his prime?

In the background, other protestors are holding placards demanding that the Environmental Protection Unit be allocated more resources.

Among many others, there are those stating that the people wanted “green” not “greed” and expressing that there is a grave imbalance between the interests of protecting the environment and continuing to make profits at environmental expense.

This man’s undeniable moves – and the presence of several thousand other protestors – are signs of the diversity of people from across Malta’s demographic landscape who have taken to Valletta to show authorities that they want change.

The identity of this dancer is as yet unknown.
