18 Semifinalists Announced For Malta Eurovision Song Contest
The Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) revealed the 18 semifinalists who will be taking the stage in the hopes of representing Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
“We’ll be revealing more exciting information in the coming days, so make sure to follow our social media platforms and stay updated,” wrote Malta Eurovision Song Contest on social media.

The competition opens with a Semi-Final on 15th January, featuring all 18 acts. A mix of jury and public votes will determine the 12 finalists.
On 17th January, those 12 qualifiers will return for the MESC 2026 Final, where the winner will be chosen. The victorious act will then represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna in May.
Next year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted by Austria in its capital city, Vienna, after JJ won the contest with his song “Wasted Love.”
