“I have battled many emotions and doubted myself in more ways than one,” the young singer – who seems to be one the favourites ahead of tonight if her music video views are anything to go by – went on to admit. “However although it wasn’t an easy decision to take after so many efforts, for many months this is what MARA stands for. I have given this song my all to show up to every rehearsal/fitting/interview like everything is okay and I will do so again tonight.”

“Unfortunately it will not fully reflect my artistry but for sure it will reflect my perseverance and the meaning of the song!” Denise finished. “I will do everything in my control to give you, the public and my team what this project deserves after I regain my full health.”

Denise finished her post off by dedicating her performance to Ella, her young daughter, who will surely be supporting her mother tonight.
