The Busker Not Predicted To Qualify For Eurovision Finals According To Bookmakers
According to the current bookmaker’s odds for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Malta will not qualify for the grand finals.
As things stand the bookies have Malta 12th out of the 15 countries competing in the first semi-final on 9th May.

No, but yes. When a country has a good enough song to be considered a safe qualifier, they make it in the top of the odds instantly.
However, events do change the odds until the night of the performance. Malta is not considered a safe qualifier yet but it’s on the border, meaning things can change. And most of the time, they do. Therefore, all hope is not lost but it won’t be easy.
Malta is competing in the first half of the first semi-final at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Press and fans are considering this semi-final to be the tougher of the two, with heavy favourites Finland, Sweden and Norway competing alongside us.
