Malta may not be in the final, but that doesn’t mean we’re not ready to have a good time – and what’s more fun that watching the beautifully camp party that is the Eurovision Song Contest on a massive cinema screen that used to show porn?

The event is being organised by the Allied Rainbow Communities (ARC) and will be held at the iconic City Lights Cinema in Valletta. The cinema, which recently got an awesome face lift, will have the perfect atmosphere for fans of the show.

And if you’re not yet sold on the idea, ARC gave us a few reasons you absolutely cannot miss out.

1. Delicious Finger food will be served

And we are not talking about Holy Communion Party food.

Tartlets with smoke Duck & Apple Chutney, Barquettes filled with shrimp mousse, caviar and lemon segment, Roast Chicken, Mushrooms & baby spinach Wraps and a total 19 food items which will leave your tummy in feast mode.

2. There’s free prosecco

All guests will be greeted with a lovely glass of Bottega prosecco to start the night off right. In addition, a cash bar offering beers, wines, spirits and soft beverages will be available throughout the night.

3. You’ll be with other Eurovision Aficionados

Unlike watching it at home with a grumpy dad or with friends who don’t give a flying fuck about Eurovision, you’ll be in the midst of real fans who follow it religiously each year.

4. It will be set-up to heighten your senses

This is not a 45-inch screen we are talking about – this is a Cinema Sized Screen and with sound enhanced by Studio 7 Equipment who shall be purposely setting up for the night.

5. There’s going to be a beautiful hostess

The lengthy lashes of one miss Tolqueen (aka Chucky) will be there to take over for the would-be Eileen Montesin spots.

6. It’s all for a worthy cause

Most importantly, you’ll be helping out a good cause! All proceeds will go towards supporting the organization of Malta Pride which need funds to cover costs entailed in making sure this year’s Pride is the biggest Malta has seen yet.

So how do you book? Simple! Tickets may be booked in advance at €15 per person via email: [email protected] or Whatsapp and Text on 99272999.
