Facebook Blows Everyone’s Mind With Harry Potter Anniversary Trick

Harry Potter took the world by storm for two entire decades, and it’s still going strong. Since being publishing on 26th June 1997, it sold 450 million copies in 79 different languages, and Malta was one of the countries that got well into Pottermania.

Now, Facebook is helping fans of the series celebrate in style, and all you have to do is mention the Boy Who Lived.

For the rest of the day, typing Harry Potter, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin on Facebook statuses or comments will turn those words into their respective house colours. And when you click on the words, you’ll get a nifty magic animation!

Some people have already discovered this nostalgic little easter egg, with one user managing to hilariously make it about Malta.
