‘Greener Way Of Fashion’: Pop-Up Thrift Shop Hitting The University Of Malta Today

A pop-up thrift store organised by S-Cubed is hitting the University of Malta campus today!

”So as to promote sustainable fashion and environmental sustainability as a whole,” the event organisers, S-Cubed – Science Students’ Society and R-Cubed said.

Thrifting has become the new cool thing, with many Gen Z’ers even finding it fun – almost like a game, hunting for something unique.

It’s a sustainable alternative to fast fashion and disposable consumerism, as you’re giving pre-loved items a new lease on life.

Given that it’s way more environmentally sustainable, this is why S-Cubed Thrift Shop will be collaborating with local charity shops, which are often gathering donations for a multitude of causes, such as animal shelters.

The outdoor event will start at 10pm, and end at 3pm, on 17th May, on quad at the University of Malta.

”Join us to help promote this greener way of fashion while supporting local businesses!”
