Watch: Mostri – Maltese Monster Film Announced For Mediterrane Film Festival

Mostri – a Maltese language feature film directed by Lawrence Sultana – will be included at the Mediterrane Film Festival – and will be screened at the Embassy cinema complex from 6.30pm on Tuesday 27th.

Director Lawrence Sultana took to social media to celebrate his film’s inclusion at the film festival – and share a compelling trailer for Mostri.

“I would like to thank the cast and crew of Mostri for their talent and dedication to this project,” said the director.

“From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.”

Mostri will screen among a slew of other films submitted from countries around the Mediterranean, with the official Maltese submission being Carmen – which will screen earlier on Tuesday 27th at 4.30pm.

Mediterrane is set to run from Sunday 25th June through to Saturday 1st July – and his bringing huge names like Russell Crowe and David Walliams to Malta in a celebration of Mediterranean films and culture.
