Maltese YouTuber Grandayy has recently seen a spike in popularity thanks to perfectly-timed memes and videos, especially in a year which has already seen the disappearance of a beloved national icon and an extremely intense election campaign. And now, he’s received a second official Silver Play Button for his new YouTube channel, which means he owns the only two of their kind in Malta!

YouTube Silver Play Buttons are awarded when accounts get 100,000 subscribers. Grandayy’s original account, grande1899, managed to obtain 267,853 subscribers and over 71 million views. His newer account, grandayy, just beat that with 268,352 subscribers and an insane 80 million views.

His fans from all over the world were quick to congratulate him for his great achievement, thanking him for all the laughs.
