OMG: This Maltese Company Will Let You Play Video Games At The Cinema

Local esports and events company (aka Maltese gamers’ haven) Quickfire have just released a platform that will allow you to book a massive cinema screen to play games on.

Yes, you read that correctly, the whole venue can be rented out for you and your friends to power your way through all your favourite titles. And the whole thing can be done through their new site, BigPlay.

Quickfire already tried this incredible experience back in 2015, but now the company is now ready to start allowing groups to book their own slot. And if video games aren’t really your thing, but you know someone who is obsessed with them, you can book surprise events.

All the setting up is done for you, all you need to do is show up, and have fun. You can even bring your own saves to finish off that impossible game in style.

Prices range from €180 to €300 (for the whole session, not per person), but they will be offering a special 10% discount for those booking in April. Although these sound a little steep, when you consider it’s for the whole session not per person, and multiple guests are encouraged, the idea promises to be an amazing way to host a memorable event – from surprise birthdays to epic end-of-exam get togethers.
