Malta’s biggest Youtuber just got bigger: Grandayy has officially surpassed two million subscribers on Youtube, barely six months after hitting the one million mark, consolidating his impressive reign for the foreseeable future.
The Maltese medical graduate took to Instagram to share a little love following the big news:
“Just hit two million subscribers on YouTube! Honestly, memes aside for a moment, I never thought I’d ever have anywhere close to this number and I can’t thank you enough for it. Now it’s Minecraft base reveal time,” the Maltese memester posted yesterday.
Grandayy has been making waves on the internet, teaming up with some of the biggest meme-creators around
With people like Pewdiepie regularly name-dropping him, other infamous memesters like Dolan Dark collaborating with him on the regular, and his activism on EU internet policy, this is definitely not the last we’ll be hearing from Grandayy.
He’s even met up with Maltese MEPs like Francis Zammi Dimech and Miriam Dalli to push for a more open and free internet

Today I met with a second Maltese MEP, Miriam Dalli, who has voted against Article 13 in past EU votes. Discussed the main flaws with Article 13, such as YouTube becoming liable for all user-uploaded content and thus threatening creators like me that upload transformative fair use videos. Right now, trilogue meetings are underway to finalize the exact wording of the copyright directive. This will probably be ready on January 21st. Then it will have to be approved by the EU member states and through a final vote in the EU Parliament. Unfortunately the last time the EU Parliament voted on it, Article 13 was approved for further amending. I encourage everyone to speak up about this and if possible, even reach out to your local politicians. Let your voice be heard! #SaveYourInternet #copyright #article13 #malta #maltagram #eu
