WATCH: Banned For Life! Notorious Maltese Gamer Has Been Handed A Permanent Ban On FIFA Following ‘Abuse, Harassing, And Vulgar’ Behaviour

Kurt Fenech, Malta’s infamous gaming superstar, has been handed a permanent from FIFA competitive gaming.
This is the second ban in the illustrious yet notorious career of the Maltese gamer and could spell the end of his FIFA career.
Kurt was handed a lifetime ban for his ‘abuse, harassing, and vulgar’ behaviour over the past few years, including uploading videos on his Youtube channel where he spat on an EA-branded scarf and call the series’ developers “cowards.”
This is the VOD that Kurt got banned for, I am all for freedom of speech but this is disgusting behaviour. How are you going to spit on the logo of a company that you want to be a professional esports athlete for. I know I am going to get stick for this but he deserves the ban. pic.twitter.com/oJmlifBFLU

Following the ban, several EA employees had their Twitter accounts hacked with the hackers posting statuses in support of Kurt including a photoshop of an official EA statement stating that ‘Kurt0411 has been unbanned.’
EA released an official statement addressing their decision to ban Kurt, citing that “Kurt0411 is disqualified for repeated Code of Conduct policy violations” noting that the violations “go beyond acceptable ‘smack talk’ as the consistent harassment targeting fellow competitors, EA employees and a previous on-air talent during the live broadcast, are unacceptable.”

The news of Fenech’s ban sparked several debates online with gamers both supporting and speaking out against it.
“I hate to see this happen to you, who is our most outspoken critic of this game. But ya gotta keep pushing forward brother, you’ve got a massive community on twitch and youtube that will support ya no matter what. Bless up and hopefully, EA changes their tyrannical ways,” a YouTuber said on his video.
On the other hand, online portals have also noted how Kurt has a bad habit of posting “terrifying videos to his YouTube page in which he and everyone watching is taking a video game about football way too seriously.”
Given the serious nature of his ban, it is highly unlikely that we will see Kurt0411 compete in a competitive FIFA match ever again.
