Young Maltese Gamer Could Win Insane Amount Of Cash In International Championship

20-year-old Maltese gamer Rueben Grech will be travelling to the UK later this month to take part in an international Call of Duty championship with a $25,000 (that’s just over €22K) cash prize.

Forming part of the team OneHash (which is also made up of one Polish guy and two French female gamers), Rueben—or Randu, as he’s known online—has had a pretty impressive track record. Out of the last 82 matches he’s played, he’s won 62 times, with his best streak being a stretch of 13 consecutive wins. That record alone is the best individual score of all time in his team, and one that will certainly see Randu being a vital part of the upcoming championship on the 24th and 25th of June.

Randu has been playing Call of Duty for years now, and he’s always managed to rank very highly in both local and international competitions. Last year, he was awarded for his impressive result at COD: Black Ops III during the second Malta Cyber Series.

Randu has also participated in different games’ online tournaments, including an international FIFA final earlier this month.
