12-Year-Old Girl Stabbed In Marsa Incident Released From ITU

The 12-year-old girl who was stabbed multiple times by her mother’s ex-partner in Marsa has thankfully been released from the Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU), TVM News has reported.

She has been relocated to another ward at Mater Dei where she will continue receiving medical treatment.

 

 

The young girl was stabbed on 9th March alongside her 15-year-old sister while they were both home in Marsa and their mother was out grocery shopping. The older sister was released from hospital some days ago after sustaining grievous injuries.

Another young boy was present and treated for shock following the traumatic event.

The police arraigned 43-year-old Nazzareno Dalli from Cospicua and accused him of attempted murder.
