As of today Monday 17th, Maltese residents aged 18 and over can apply for the COVID-19 booster dose.

New measures were announced last week amidst Malta’s biggest COVID-19 spike, which included the booster dose being available for 18+ as of today.

The first two cases of Omicron were also announced last week, alongside the new measures.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Robert Abela together with his wife and daughter received the COVID-19 booster, encouraging others to follow suit.

Those interested in taking the booster can now apply on vaccin.gov.mt.
