Abortion Debate: KSU Organises Event To Discuss Reproductive Rights With Dutch Expert
Kunsill Studenti Universitarji is organising a debate on reproductive rights in collaboration with the Dutch Embassy next week.
The discussion will be centred around sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and will feature Dr Lilianne Ploumen, a former Dutch minister and esteemed advocate for SRHR, as keynote speaker.
The event, titled Choice, Voice And Debate, will assume a townhall-style format to give students the opportunity to voice their opinions, exchange ideas, and engage in constructive and respectful discussions.
Besides being the former Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade, Ploumenn is also the founder of SheDecides; a global political movement fighting for a world where abortion is universally accessible.
The debate will take place on 11th December between 12pm and 2pm at the KSU common room.
The Dutch Embassy will also be providing complementary food and drinks for all attendees.
