BREAKING: 106 New COVID-19 Cases In Malta In Largest Single-Day Rise
Malta has registered 106 new cases of COVID-19, the largest single-day rise in cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
22 new recoveries were also recorded in the past 24 hours.
This means that Malta’s number of active cases now stands at 591.
Today’s new cases come after 2,470 swab tests were conducted over the 24 hours.
Three cases were from the St Joseph’s home cluster and 15 cases from Casa Antonio cluster.
Since the first case in Malta in March, there have been 16 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
