Active COVID-19 Cases Dip After Malta Registers 151 New Patients And 180 Recoveries Over The Last 24 Hours

Malta has registered 151 new COVID-19 patients and 180 new recoveries over the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry has announced.

This means that active COVID-19 cases have dropped slightly to 2,801.

One more COVID-19 patient has died over the last 24 hours. The country’s virus death toll now stands at 245.

The victim is an 82-year-old woman. She died at Mater Dei Hospital.

As of yesterday, 15,316 vaccine doses were administered in Malta.

Testing has remained high with 3,208 swab tests conducted yesterday. This means that 580,752 swab tests have been conducted in Malta since the country registered its first case of COVID-19.
