Gozitan PN MP Alex Borg took to social media to express his satisfaction at the fact that “the MRI machine has finally been installed in the Gozo General Hospital”, adding that he is “certain that many Gozitan patients will benefit from this”.

Back in January, the Health Minister announced plans for the installation of an MRI scanner at St. Vincent De Paul, alongside the procurement of another for Gozo General Hospital.

This decision came after it was revealed that a staggering 15,768 individuals are currently awaiting scans.
