New Health Service Centre For Children And Adolescents Inaugurated In Rabat Gozo
A centre offering various health services to children, adolescents and youth has been inaugurated in Rabat Gozo this week.
The Minister for Health and Active Aging, Jo Etienne Abela, explained that around 300 individuals and families will benefit from this new centre.
He continued by stating that the centre will offer a number of services that are available in the CDAU and CYPS Sections, including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and new services such as Educational Dental Hygienist, Community Paediatrics and Family Therapy.
“We have also ensured that Gozo has this facility that can provide modern and holistic services. This facility is located near the Gozo General Hospital, which, as previously announced, has a development and regeneration plan. The aim of this centre is to offer health care and support services to both clients and their families or caregivers,” stated Minister Abela.
