Survey: Living with Endometriosis – Share Your Story, Raise Awareness

Endometriosis is a chronic condition that affects one in 10 women worldwide.

It often causes debilitating pain and fertility issues, making it a serious and life-altering disease that millions of women and people assigned female at birth live with every day.

In honour of Endometriosis Awareness Month, Lovin Malta has launched a survey to better understand the experiences of women and AFAB (assigned female at birth) individuals in Malta — because unfortunately, public awareness and understanding of this disease remain limited.

Endometriosis is commonly associated with severe, life-disrupting pain during periods, sexual intercourse, bowel movements, and urination. It can also lead to chronic pelvic pain, bloating, nausea, fatigue, and in many cases, mental health struggles such as depression and anxiety, as well as infertility.

It’s painful. It’s exhausting. And there’s no better way to raise awareness than by hearing directly from those living with it.

If you’ve been diagnosed with endometriosis, suspect you may have it, or have experience and knowledge of the condition, we’d love to hear from you.
All responses are anonymous and may be used for subsequent articles on the Lovin Malta website and social media.
