New Government Strategy Set To Improve Accessibility Of STI Medication For All
A public consultation regarding Sexual Health Strategy is set to be launched soon by the Ministry for Health and Active Ageing.
The strategy will outline the government’s commitment to the sexual health of the population by preventing and treating sexually transmitted infections, particularly HIV.
Measures will be put forward, aimed at enhancing prevention, the provision of preventive HIV medication for high risk individuals and added measures to boost the accessibility to HIV testing for all.
Above all, the key focus of the strategy is to highlight the importance of equity in access to necessary treatment.
