Lovin Malta has published a survey to get to know Malta’s thoughts and stories about sex. And while it isn’t necessarily an accurate representation of the islands’ sexual preferences, it can give us some interesting points to dissect.
According to 404 respondents to the survey, good old fashion missionary reigns supreme in the bedroom, with 123 choosing it as their go-to favourite position.
However, the more adventurous doggy style comes at a very close second here (29.2%), followed by cowgirl (21.5%).
On the other hole, 8.4% said oral sex is what gets things really moving for them.
Here’s a shoutout to some creative positions mentioned that were unknown to the author of this article: scissored flagpole, the bodyguard and the wrapped dancer.
The demographics of this survey were not particularly balanced. The overwhelming majority of respondents were male (61%) and straight (84%). And that kind of makes sense when 66.8% said they always orgasm during sex.
Nonetheless, there might be three new sex positions to try out here, whatever your sexual orientation.
