The Countdown Begins: Malta Med-Tech World Summit Is Less Than One Month Away!
As we all know, medical technologies can save lives, improve health as well as contribute to more sustainable healthcare. It is for this reason that the Med-Tech World Summit taking place in Malta is a unique opportunity for the island to host such discussions and key visionary leaders from around the world.
Co-founder of Med-Tech World Summit, Dr Dylan Attard, a surgical trainee by background, will delve into the med-tech industry to share his insights and talk about what he and his team have been up to in the past couple of months.
In 2023, the Med-Tech World Summit traversed through Istanbul, London, and Dubai, each city offering a unique platform for collaboration and innovation in Med-Tech.
Istanbul’s vibrant history fuelled enriching dialogues and the formation of fostering connections and establishing partnerships, while London, through a collaboration with Youtube Health and StartUp Health, gathered experts, investors, and entrepreneurs to discuss the latest trends in med-tech.
Additionally, Dubai was crucial in embedding the event deeper within the Middle East’s digital health landscape, sponsored by Umana Medical and CIBA Healthcare, connecting diverse sectors of the global med-tech industry.
Dr Attard shared his excitement to host guests coming from various parts of the world to discuss everything from Med-Tech investment trends to the challenges faced by CEOs in this field.
This year’s summit will host a plethora of guest speakers, including Chris Fearne, the Minister for Health at Government of Malta, Hon. Dr. Jo-Etienne Abela, the Minister for Active Ageing & Malta Medicines Authority, Torrey Smith who is the Co-founder & CEO at Endiatx as well as a number of med-tech companies CEO’s.
The summit will be held over two days, from the 19th to the 20th October, and it will include a forum for CEOs to discuss their personal experiences, as well as two days when the main event will take place, held at the Malta Mediterranean Conference Centre.
