Your New Free At-Home-Guide For When To Visit Your Doctor

Two medical doctors Sheriseane Diacono and Rebecca Caruana have written a book titled ‘When to Visit your Doctor: A Doctor’s Perspective.’

“The aim of this book is to serve as a basic guide for people about when they should seek the advice of their family doctor, or other forms of medical advice, including the emergency room or hospital medical professionals.” The authors said in a statement to Lovin Malta.

And good news, the e-book is free! and can be accessed from this link.

Amidst overcrowding leading to long waiting times at public health centres, polyclinics and hospitals, this book could help reduce waiting times by identifying non severe cases, prompting people to stay home instead of visiting a doctor.

With an extensive list of possible reasons to visit a doctor, this book could become a new household staple and should serve as everyone’s trusted at-home-guide written by doctors themselves.

Well done to Sheriseane and Rebecca! A great initiative that could have an amazing impact on the lives of patients and doctors alike!
