British Navy Convoy From 1941 Docks In Malta For 3 Day Visit
HMS Defender arrived in Malta’s ports earlier today ahead of a 3-day visit.
Announced on Facebook by the British High Commission, the ship entered the Grand Harbour in a Procedure Alpha salute
The ship was awarded awarded honours for the Malta Convoys in 1941.
The post detailed: “Defender’s forebear has a deep connection with the Maltese Islands, having played a crucial role in the Malta Convoys of 1941.”
