Ira Losco Cancels Tomorrow’s Infinity By Hugo’s Performance
Ira Losco’s team have cancelled her stripped down performance at Infinity By Hugo’s this Saturday following the death of Managing Director Hugo Chetcuti.
Friends and fans who bought tickets to the gig, which was set to be an acoustic, intimate performance by the singer, will be “refunded in full” by the organisers as soon as possible.
“In light of the tragic passing of our founder and Managing Director Hugo Chetcuti, Ira Losco and her team have had no other alternative but to cancel her live performance which was scheduled for this Saturday” said the team at Infinity by Hugo’s.
“Please accept our sincere apology for this inconvenience.”
Earlier this morning Ira shared a collage of photos of Hugo, stating she was “saddened, shocked and lost for words” to hear the news of his passing while on vacation in Italy.
Hugo Chetcuti died days after sustaining serious injuries in a Paceville stabbing attack outside one of his own eateries.
As of yet there appear to be no plans to reschedule the concert.
Ira was set to sing some fan favourites from the past alongside a few of her newer tracks from the recently-released double album, No Sinner, No Saint.
