Is This Malta’s Most Unfair Parking Ticket?
Everyone who gets a parking ticket feels they totally didn’t deserve it, but for one unlucky driver the fine line between good parking and an inconvenience was as thin as they come.
Posted in popular Facebook group ‘The Salott’ this photo shows a woman’s bumper millimeters over a yellow line, which was apparently enough to be fined.
“This person got fined because they’re over a yellow line. Do you guys think they’re parked badly?”
The post has invoked the ire of many of the group’s members, who are tired of seeing much worse parking infractions get away scot free.
According to some comments, if the car’s wheels are parked squarely within the white lines, then there is no grounds for a parking ticket to be issued.
Either way, if the car did get the ticket for parking there, the whole thing seems extremely unfair.
