Issa X’Se Nagħmlu?! Facebook And Instagram Users Report Worldwide Crashes As Messages Say Service ‘Will Be Back Soon’
Don’t panic, but Facebook is down.
Many users from all over the world are reporting issues with trying to connect to the social media giant, with some even reporting similar problems on Instagram.
In Malta, users and companies – this newsroom included – are having specific issues of their own, with some being unable to post statuses, send photos, or even log in to their Facebook account.
In some cases, a message telling users “Facebook Will Be Back Soon” appears. In others, it’s simply an error message or a freezing page
“Facebook is down for required maintenance right now, but you should be able to get back on within a few minutes,” messages have been saying for at least an hour now. “Thanks for your patience as we improve the site.”
Most of the issues seem to have started being reported in the south and south-east of England, but soon enough, users in the US, Peru, Columbia, Mexico and even parts of Europe started experiencing the same struggles.
Keep calm guys, and remember: this might be the perfect time to look around you and smile at the person sitting in front of you.
