L-Għaliex: Malta’s Newest Podcast About Human Motivation And Understanding Behaviour Has Landed

We are proud to announce a new collaboration between Lovin Malta and Matthew Bartolo on the L-Għaliex podcast.
This fresh series promises to dive into the deepest motives and explanations for human behaviour and opinions, providing listeners with a unique and thought-provoking experience.
Why should you tune in?
L-Għaliex is presented by seasoned therapist, counsellor and coach Matthew Bartolo, along with distinguished presenter and producer Joseph Agius. And with a line-up like that, you know it’s going be more than just a podcast.
It’s a voyage to the heart of the “why” – the fundamental motives that drive our behaviours, beliefs and lives.

Who will we be seeing?
The series has two formats.
Bartolo will have one-on-one interviews and focusing on IKIGAI (a passion that gives value and joy to life), the core reason of “why”. These episodes will delve into what motivates people personally and professionally. Guests come from corporate backgrounds to former presidents, such as Mark Bajada (business magnate and entrepreneurial coach), Marie Louise Coleiro Preca (former President of Malta) and Evarist Bartolo (former Education Minister) among others.
The other format will have a four-group panel and they’ll discuss significant societal issues.
These conversations will delve into the explanations for certain behaviours and trends, giving a multidimensional understanding of the “whys” that shape our environment. Examples are: Why are people scared and disgusted by old age? Why is play important for both children and adults? And why are people scared of artificial intelligence? For each topic, the production team invited the top people in the respective fields.

When and where can I watch it?
L-Għaliex will start on 31st July and will air every three weeks on Wednesdays at 8pm on Matthew Bartolo’s Facebook… and of course, Lovin Malta.
L-Għaliex will bring true-life stories and explorative discussions. You’ll learn how people react to difficult times and how their purpose helps them keep fighting.
Discussions by top experts in their fields explore and explain why people act a certain ways and the motives driving human behaviour and social trends.
