EuroPride 2023 may be bringing some massive performers and incredible parties to Malta… but the celebrations are about way more than just that.

Here are the 5 events happening on 9th September:

First up, head over to Victoria, Gozo, for the Kwir Olimpiks by MGRM, a sports festival completed with a 5-a-side football tournament, six different funny games, and a children’s area equipped with a free bouncy castle.

Don’t forget to bring a reusable cup for free water. Besides this, all participants will receive handmade soap from SOAR, an organisation supporting survivors of domestic violence.

Also in Victoria, the Gozo Pride March and Concert will be held. The day promises unforgettable performances from over 20 incredible artists, including Michela, Ryan Hili, Pamela, Aidan, and Amber.

The march will be followed by a concert featuring Versatile Brass and dance performances from Kinetic Dance Company and YADA Dance Company.

If you’re a film buff, make sure to visit Spazju Kreattiv for the EUNIC Film Festival Week, a collaboration with EuroPride featuring screenings on the theme of “Equality from the Heart.” The festival brings together embassies and cultural organisations from across Europe for a series of impactful films.

Last but not least, swing by Pjazza Tritoni for the EuroPride Variety Show, a captivating blend of diverse performances celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community.
