Malta’s first LGBTIQ+ television series KWIR is set to premiere exclusively on ONE in January 2025 by Inclusive Media.

Created, written, and directed by Brandon Terribile—known for his groundbreaking inclusive work—KWIR is poised to bring a fresh and exciting narrative to Maltese screens.

The series, which focuses on themes of self-discovery, family, and acceptance, will explore the lives of teenagers navigating love and identity.

From drag performers to transgender stories and the challenges faced by LGBTIQ+ youth in football, KWIR promises a vibrant mix of heartwarming moments, laughter, and drama.

With a star-studded Maltese cast, including Frida Cauchi, Inez Farrugia, Luke Andre Camilleri, Olivia Lilith, Trihanna Wilde, Sheyonce and many more, the series is expected to captivate audiences of all ages.

Several big-name guest stars will also appear throughout the show, making it a must-watch for everyone.

Brandon Terribile, the creative force behind KWIR, has previously worked on projects like AVARÙ and Action, known for championing inclusivity and pushing boundaries in Maltese media.

With KWIR, he once again creates space for underrepresented voices and stories, making it a groundbreaking milestone in local television.
