Making your home greener should be your daily mission and life goal. Not only are those green babies good for you, but they will also give you a lovely home that feels well cared for and looks lovely.
If you’re not a fan of pruning, watering, loving and conversing with your beautiful plants, you could always buy yourself a cute little succulent or cactus to brighten up your bleak desk at work. They literally take up no space at all, need close to zero maintenance… and you can throw them at people you hate whenever.

1. Derek Garden Centre
This cool shop in the middle of Qormi has been around for years, and judging from their cactus garden, we can estimate that it’s been around since forever.
Derek can provide you with pots, seeds, soil and anything else you need to start your mini home jungle with just one stop.
If you don’t want to buy plants but just want to look at ginormous cacti towering over your head, you can chill out in Derek’s beautiful garden and stare at the adorable cats who live there.
2. Callus Garden Centre
A family-owned shop in Siġġiewi which also caters for home and leisure stuff. Apart from selling amazing plantfriends, these guys also excel at landscaping, project consultancy, plantation and maintenance.
Their plant area is large and you might very easily spend a whole day there staring in amazement at the weird pineapple trees you can totally buy.
3. Piscopo Gardens
One of Malta’s leading garden centres, these guys also have birds and garden furniture for you to buy. Piscopo boasts a large number of plants, along with a huge variety of them too.
You can also get yourself some super fruity trees like a fully-grown passionfruit tree and a common lemon tree.
4. Sherries Estates
Sherries Estates has the word estates in its name for a reason. It boasts a number of different sections which cater for both indoor and outdoor plants. They also have ginormous trees in the entrance for you to feel totally jealous about.
Also, parrots.
5. Jardinland
Jardinland will have you purchasing flower bouquets for your home in no time. After that, you will go ahead and buy yourself two trees, a bonsai and five cacti.
This shop has rows upon rows of different plants for you to choose from — so much that it might drive the average plant person utterly insane and completely broke.
6. Green Supplier Ltd
This Burmarrad nursery grows lovely babies all year round. They specialise in landscaping and supplying flowers for special occasions. They also sell trees and shrubs – yay!
7. F.M. Agius Nurseries
F.M Agius can be found in Birkirkara and offers a giant range of plant bulbs and fresh herbs.
This shop’s vast range of plant care products will have your babies growing big and strong in no time. A good selection of pots is also available at the store, giving you a good choice of fancy stuff to put your plants in.
8. Calamatta Landscapes Ltd
Calamatta has been around for 36 years, making this the daddy of Maltese plant shops. Over the years the company branched out to offer gardening maintenance services and landscape works. Calamatta Landscapes provides its customers with plants, shrubs and trees along with other plant maintenance products.
9. Medisun Landscapes Ltd
This shop has a wide selection of plants, most of which are grown in-house. They offer a wide range of gardening tools, pots, fertilisers, compost and anything you might need for your plantchildren.
They’ve partnered with Calamatta Landscapes in the past and are known for many outdoors projects, such as The Dragonara Hotel and Portomaso landscape.

This pet/plant shop in Attard will cater your every need both for plantbabies and petbabies, so it’s a one stop shop for all of the nature lovers out there.

Greenscapes is the royal gem of the plant world here in Malta. The staff are extremely helpful and very attentive to all your needs, so if you’re still a beginner in this whole plant thingy, this is definitely the place you need to visit.

F. Zammit can be found in Qormi and specialises in lush greenery and really weird looking bonsai trees. They have a good choice of plants and trees for you to take your pick of at their lovely garden centre, so don’t miss out on missing this shop.
