The Stray Animals Support Group in Malta was set up by a number of people who have been involved in animal welfare all their lives. The aim of SASG is to provide support and help to organisations and individuals who dedicate their lives to looking after and caring for stray animals.
The main activities are providing food for abandoned animals, helping with medication and operations, rescuing and providing recovery facilities for injured cats, neutering stray cat colonies (with post operation recovery facilities), rehoming abandoned cats and dogs, and, of course, fundraising to make all these things possible.

Hugs Charity Shop:
Found in a little residential street in Mosta, this charity shop offers a wide variety of clothes, all donated for the sake of re-using. Apart from that, they also have a massive wall of books, from old to new, all ready at your disposal. The proceeds go towards Animal Welfare and any other organisations in need.

MSPCA:
The MSPCA charity shops, previously known as Paws 4 A Cause, can be found in Naxxar, San Ġwann and Sliema. The earnings from this charity shop go towards MSPCA which is a non-profit organisation that works towards the safeguarding and protection of animals.

YMCA:
YMCA is a non-profit organisation dedicated to youth empowerment, wellbeing, and strengthening the community. It is a vintage shop in Ħaż-Żabbar often has some cool finds, so be sure to check it out!
They specialise in the support, assistance and reintegration of the homeless in Malta. Also homing in on the positive development of young people as a preventive measure, intervening with a spectrum of social services to the underprivileged and socially disadvantaged.

The Inspire foundation has three available charity shops around Malta. Income generated from these two shops goes directly towards the foundation, which offers support to children and adults with disability and their families.

Happy Paws:
Happy Paws charity organisation was founded in 2004 and provide free neutering for strays in their own veterinary clinic. The organisation is financed through the two charity shops, sponsors, and donations, so be sure to support their cause!
Striving to provide subsidised neutering services for those caretakers who have joined their Team in their own Veterinary Clinic.
Apart from their resident Veterinary Staff, it is completely run by volunteers. They finance the organisation by operating 2 charity shops, through sponsorships, and donations
Their belief is that the only way to control stray dog and cat overpopulation and the killing of adoptable animals is by decreasing birth rates.
