A Legend Retires: Malta’s Iconic ‘Pink Sausage’ Packet Has Just Rebranded And We’re Not Sure How To Feel About It
You will never find yourself at a Maltese BBQ and not be offered stout, pink, perfectly grilled pork and beef sausages. DewFresh’s famous “pink sausages” have been a staple of Malta for years… but it’s just been through quite a massive change.
Following a subtle (but noticeable) rebrand, people were slightly taken aback (if not confused) to realise that the previously unchanged packaging of the iconic sausages had been slightly tweaked to a much sleeker design… leading to one particularly hilariously poignant post.
“A legend retires”, popular designers Te fit-Tazza, who indeed rose to fame immortalising iconic Maltese images for bespoke frames, posted earlier today. They even shared their own version of the old packaging many will instantly recognise, adding “Thanks for the memories.”
Thanks for the memories indeed, pink sausages.
And while this definitely marks the end of an era, the slight rebrand should not have had any effect whatsoever on those delicious fat boys… so grill away guys!
