Are They Salvageable? Gardens Forming Part Of ‘Floriana Heritage Trail’ In Horrendous Condition
Gardens which form part of the Floriana Heritage trail were left in a state of disarray with uprooted trees, overflowing trash cans, broken and fallen signs, as well as scattered litter and broken stone floors.
It is truly a pity to see a park with such potential, even forming part of a tourist trail, remain in such a desolate and pathetic state.
Speaking to Lovin Malta, residents shared images of the gardens, urging authorities to step in and restore it to its former glory.
A pole with several signs attached lay among a lone tree and bush, highlighting the lack of upkeep of nature within the park itself.
The litter scattered across the park also calls to attention the severe absence of maintenance that should be done regularly to keep the park in working order.
