‘Construction And Sunshine’: Richie Hawtin Sums Up Malta In Three Words
Last night, techno legend Richie Hawtin dropped a slick set for Maltese clubbers – and barely a day later, he’s dropped a simple truth bomb about the entire island.
‘Construction and sunshine” is how the prolific DJ described Malta in an Instagram story highlighting, well, the two things that the island can truly offer.
His short post struck a chord among fans and Maltese viewers, who were not surprised that the British-Canadian musician was as fed up of all the ugly construction sites around Malta.
One fan even shared Hawtin’s story, saying “even Richie has had enough”.
Aside from his successful party with Yakuza and throwing some much-needed shade on Malta’s construction obsession, he also headed to Fat Louie’s for some proper good food
